Review of Alpas Siargao: A Balance of Comfort and CostDuring my recent stay at Alpas Siargao, I was drawn to its serene atmosphere amid the bustling surroundings. Despite the island experiencing power disruptions, the hotel managed as much as possible to accommodate its guests, although the absence of air conditioning made the nights somewhat challenging. The staff, particularly Ate Day, displayed remarkable kindness and dedication, always ensuring guests felt at home. The dormitory I initially chose featured clean facilities, a pleasant sitting area, and well-designed bathrooms, which lent an appealing vibe to the hostel experience. Upgrading to a private room with an outdoor shower enhanced my stay considerably. The property thoughtfully integrates garden areas where one can unwind, and the nearby beach offers easy access to local nightlife, restaurants, and cafes, making it a strategic choice for travelers exploring Siargao. While Alpas Siargao offers a level of comfort that rivals pricier options, it's prudent to consider potential inconveniences. Future visits will hopefully be free from such disruptions, as I look forward to returning to this unique establishment.
